More About Me
I’m a retired U. S. Air Force officer, whose 24-year active-duty career took me to assignments around the world, working and/or living on three continents in seven different countries, including a tour in Cairo, Egypt. I finished my career on the Air Staff in the Pentagon, retiring in 1994.
I am a past National President of the Logistics Officer Association, and am honored to have been awarded the Association’s Leadership and Lifetime Achievement awards.
My “second career” involved over 20 years of global information technology program management, sales, and business development. After that, I started my “third career” as “retired” but working in several charitable organizations and, finally, writing!
Raised in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with honors, in English Literature from Saint Michael’s College and a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy University. I have previously published a number or articles in professional journals, as well as three novels: “Angela’s Letter,” “RAVEN,” and most recently, “The Three Days of Lost Sheep.”
I live in Northern Virginia with my wife of 53 years, Dawn, who was not my high school sweetheart. We met in the Air Force when we were both lieutenants. For me, it was love at first sight! We have one son, and triplet teen-aged grandchildren.

What Readers Are Saying...
Great WW2 spy novel
A WW2 spy novel. The story was interesting beginning to end. I am ready for the next book in the series. Interesting characters and good dialog. I enjoyed the read and have passed it along to my daughter to read. And than on to several friends.
An Excellent Read
An excellent read, especially if you are familiar with the Newport, Rhode Island area and know someone stationed there. World War II intrigue, spies, and politics; all those good things in a book. An easy and pager-turning book perfectly sized at 300 pages. The paperback is nice sized (6”x9”) and printed on high quality page.
Riveting, well researched, great pace and sense or right amount of detail.
Mark filled in a time period that I was lacking in, and kept the story true to the time.
